Buzz win with backs against the wall......

The Buzz can thank some great "D" and even better goaltending for their 4-2 win over the Rebels tonight, it was quite the display between the pipes. The Nations tender was no slouch either, as the Buzz could not score in the first and went to the dressing room down 1-0. A very solid second by the Buzz gave them a 3-2 lead, with the eventual game winning goal potted by a defensive specialist on a fast break showing a great burst of speed and a great finish. In the third, the Rebels had a lot of good looks, and #7 was his usual slippery self, but when a goalie is this hot, what can you do?? The Buzz got their two goal cushion before the mid-way point in the third on an absolute rocket from the top of the circle, goalie is still waiting to see it! There were a few too many penalties for my taste, and one bout that had the Buzz player tossed for instigating, but nothing that should carry over to game 5.

For those that are at game 5, I hope it is a nice clean affair and that the best team wins, and may that best team be from Oakville!! Go Buzz!!
