What would they do over? Rethink this decision, with these guys in the line up they went 2 OTs, without they just went! I was not at third game but reading the posts above Regals had lots of opportunity to win with Man up situations. To blame Bobby for the game and hold the 2 of them out in a must win game that says how much they value these 2 players.
If the coach and GM can not play them in a game they must win, when both of them have played through the painful history of the team, then they have no use for them and to hold them back out of spite and an outside chance of getting something then that is sad indeed.
You posted Marcoux was let go, I do not think Gamble was held back either so would they try to make things tough for these 2 boys. Is it a vendetta and one last grind on 2 who can do nothing in return? I am sure if given the chance Bubba would play in Elora, he may live in Welland but he spent 17 years living 4.25 Kms away from Elora and he watched, Danny Booker, Dobie, Lincoln, et al.
I know you do not represent the Regals but hopefully they can apoligize to these 2 who have given lots to the program and then do what is right.
