Rock and a Hard Place??

I agree that MLSE's cold hand on the ticket price and Ticketmaster's surcharge sure do add insult to the injury of falling attendance stats for the Rock. I'm real hesitant though, to jump on the bandwagon suggested earlier that we should support the franchise by continuing to buy overpriced tickets so management has a chance to rebuild. That's really worked for the Leafs, eh? Fourty two years on from the last cup and we have an all-time lousy team and admission prices highest in the NHL.

Aside from a misguided (imho) thought that the Rock need to play at ACC to give them credibility, membership in the sporting big leagues, why do they play there?? Ricoh Coliseum has enough room, it's downtown, parking is better. The highest price ticket for the Marlies is 42 bucks.
