As far as venues, I'd be fine with OHL venues. After Six Nations, some of the better OLA venues in terms of sightlines, comfort for fans and players, temperature, etc., are Brampton, Peterborough, and K-W (in an OHL level venue, but not home to an OHL team). The OHL has lost some of it's personality in recent years, a lot of that is related to a changing (and younger) game play. A lot of changes are money driven as well, stemming down from huge NHL contracts. I don't think atmosphere or the game would change much in a major junior lacrosse format, there isn't the "big money" in the NLL and MSL to cause a change at the junior level.
