After 2 exhibition game wins, the Wilmot Wild opened their Junior C lacrosse season with a 7-5 win over the Fergus Thistles last Friday in Fergus.  Last night the 2011 West Division Finalists travelled to Hamilton for their second regular season game. 

The Wild scored first on a goal by John Wilson followed by Brandon Brubacher to take a 2-0 lead out of the first period.  The second period continued as in the first with Wild goals from Brandon Hill and Brandon Haskins before the Bengals scored their first goal 35 minutes into the game on a shorthanded breakaway.  The Wild added two more early in the third by Scott Tremblay and Brandon Brubacher.  Returning Goaltender David Hughes turned in another outstanding effort for the Wild. 

The Wild's next game is Friday, May 18 in Shelburne.
