game review with Hamilton

Hamilton- The Hamilton Bengals defeated the Vets 6-3 scoring as per pointstreak. Full credit to the Hammer on this night in a well deserved win. The Vets were flat most of the game and not sure if it was the 2 hour drive but their legs sure looked like they were still in Dufferin County. The Vets did score the opening 3 goals but that was it for them the rest of the night. The Tigers just kept chipping away and shutdown the Troops the last 2 periods. The Vets lead 3-1 after first and trailed 4-3 heading into the third. Penalties seemed to be an issue for the Vets specially in the third when the Vets had to sit 7 minors but in no way did this take anything away from a solid game played by Hamilton. The Bengals outshot the Vets 14-11, 14-9 and 18-9 in the third. Both goalies played very well.
The Vets look to rebound as they host unbeaten Wilmot Wild on Friday night at 8pm.
