Is an NCAA scholarship really the financial windfall and educational opportunity we are asked to believe by many on this forum?
How many kids get full scholarships?
How many stay 4 years and graduate?
How much money is spent to get the scholarship?
How many players end up with better educations and jobs then they would have gotten staying in Canada?
I don't know the answers to these questions; but I do know that there are more players going to the Robert Morris, Belarmine,Detroit schools then there are to Johns Hopkins, or Virginia, or Syracuse. Is it really worth the changes it is creating in box or is it a case of people inventing a false dream that everyone is madly chasing?
