You can shoot a cannon off in Ajax, Brampton, and Kitchner during season games and not hit anybody. How long can owners afford that. I went to the Brampton game against S.N the other night and it was an Nll allstar team playing a glorified Senior B team. When did Keough, Doyle, Leblanc, Beirnes, Poulin, Miller, R. Smith, B.D. Smith, Marshall, and Sullivan become local talent. And the biggest joke of all is they go and get Duch from out west. The point is Peterboro and S.N. do not need to have one high priced mercenary on their team with the amount of local talent they have. Put a cap in, make draft picks stay where they are drafted and make all teams strong and competitive and see if the league flourishes then. I agree the league will probably always be around but probably with little interest or as one sided and uncompetitive as it is now.
