She had sat inside at the wharf with the fat balding man for better half of the day. The smell of salt water logged wood assaulted her nose for the one thousandth time. She would not bend on her offer for the deeds to the docks and port in a whole. The man owned every dock that had a ship, save one. It was said that no one owned the dock that the Ghost Ship was stationed. Her jade eyes narrowed on him and he frowned at her. Her voice was crisp.
"I will pay you the sum offered Tavist.. no more no less..or those dirty secrets you have may just yet come public."
He frowned at her and shook his head. He had never liked dealing with her.. and had exhaled easier while she had been gone because he knew that the secrets she knew of would not be revealed.
So he had owed her a boon, and she was asking for it with payment of his livelyhood. 2 large skiffs 3 schooners a cargo ship and the deeds to the docks he owned plus the wharf and holding buildings and the office to the shipping company she now owned.
Tavist slung his head and stood defeated. He signed everything over and snarled at her. She had made a lifelong enemy...But she cared less...she had gotten her wish..and now had the beginning of her new reign started. She jingled the key ring...she couldn't wait to tell Zeigfried...Her jade eyes narrowed and she pulled the cowel over her head covering delicate features...she steppedout onto the docks... It was an hour and a half past sunset 30 more minutes and she would be meeting with one of the Gemini.. her eyes glittered and she leaned against a building in the dark of night waiting for the elven woman to appear.
