"We don't even know where we're going, yet," he agreed with a nod, settling back onto his haunches, hands draped between his knees.
"This is true. Where -are- you going? Wandering about in the woods is not precisely inconspicuous, these days." Father Mathews stood over the trio like some sort of parental figure, his fists on his hips and his livery somehow uncrinkled from a night of sleeping in it.
"You're quite guilty of wandering in the woods, yourself, sir." Thomas said, almost frowning. But not quite. Instead he chuckled and fell back onto his bottom waving a hand about the group. "We don't even know each other formally yet, and we're already tossing accusations. I'm Thomas, yadda yadda. Miss Annabella and Miss Sa'kura I know, but may not know each other."
"Father Ulrich Mathews, of the Teutonic Brotherhood." The blonde man stated it as though the group should gasp in awe.
Instead, Thomas only nodded slowly, looking up at the man. His gaze wasn't affixed directly on the knight's face...just slightly off. "Alright. Then...now we all know each other. I suppose."
"Breakfast," Mathews reminded him.
"Right right..." a hand lifted and waved vaguely, a gesture that looked like more than just a dismissive motion but an actual sign. "I will gladly have any berries, if you happen on them. No worries if you don't though."
"I will take the coneys," Father Ulrich nodded to Annabella. "I should have a decent fire started when you return."
Thomas' brows lifted as he lifted his head again towards the man that stood over them. "So you're staying with us?"
"I must keep an eye on this little troupe. There are unsavory folk about, and I must make sure you are not one of them." From the pointed gaze, it was obvious that the knight was speaking directly to the 'warlock'.
