She paused once more, sighing a bit as she took a moment to look around. It appeared they'd ended up in a small clearing of some sort, surrounded by dense forest and undergrowth. She wondered vaguely what purpose the clearing had held before becoming a makeshift cemetary. She looked down at the hole they'd dug, noting the depth, seeing that they only had a bit more to go until it was a suitable place to lay Ulrich to rest. In the steadily coming dawn, she had a feeling they would do best to bury him silently, and quickly, and be on their way. She wasn't liking the feel of this clearing in the light any more than she'd liked it in the dark. Azure eyes scanned the periphery quickly, before returning to settle in the drow.

"I know not...though I'm likin standin here in the open less and less. Let's get him in the ground, and bless him quickly afore somethin else chooses tae surprise us."

She had a feeling they weren't alone, anyhow. Ever since the previous night, she'd felt as if there were eyes all over the forest. While she'd always thought the forest had eyes, she'd never before wanted to poke those eyes out for the evil they sought to render. She turned, gouging a few more swordfuls of earth from the hole, and standing back, stabbing the blade standing to move around Ulrich.

"What say we take care o' the old boy, and soon, eh?"

Brows raised as she glanced at Sa'kura, indicating Ulrich's prone form.
