Upstairs in the Master's Ritual Chamber Belasco was deep in meditation. Several Grimoires laid out on the table before him. White Magic, protection spells. He had no delusions about the tower's impregnability, once he had finished these charms it would, however be much more difficult to enter its grounds. The final spell he was preparing would extend all the others passed the walls to include a small portion of the forest and clearing. Allowing those under his protection a bit of excercise, should hard times come.
He was disturbed from these preparations by the feeling of a gentle hand on his back. Eyes snapped open, only to realise it was the tower, not himself which had been touched.
"I must be more careful with these communion charms... I forget the level of your own power friend."
He uncrossed his legs and stood. Moving down the stair as he pulled on his Enchanted Robes over his comfy pajamas. He pulled them tight about his waste, just as the door opened to allow passage.
It was his silent hope that the charms would indeed refuse any of ill-intent entry into his sanctum. If not, he would be ready to deal with them himself.
Before he could even make out the form in the night mists he called out.
"I am Belasco DiMera Giovanni, Archmage and Protector of this Tower. Who enters here?"
