"I am interested in learning of this tower's past, and how it came to be here. Often the past repeats itself, and I would like to know what to expect. Though I have a sense that it has taken an entirely new path as of late."
"Might I enquire as to the intent of your journey here? Just visiting, or something else?"
The man was pleasant enough, though obviously not entirely trusting. As was to be expected from one of his race, especially a wizard no less.
