      He watched her go and ran his hand over his neatly trimmed goatee.

      "For seven lifetimes of men I have sought the secrets of the cosmos, I have little doubt of the wisdom that comes with time elf." He muttered softly.

      He turned slowly and looked out the window to the north and the smoke trails across the darkening sky of Krythal where the armies were camped.

      "I only hope that fate allows us what time we need."

      He sighed and drew back the heavy curtains, shrouding the tower in peaceful darkness.
