What has happened to the reserves lately, come on lads back to winning ways asap. Should not be problem against Chobham, need to get a good run together straight away or kiss good bye to the title. Your the best team in the league so do not let yourselves down and go and win the title.

Phil Ellery.

Looks like we've thrown it away already to be honest! Bookham only have 3 games left and 2 are easy against Tongham and Chobham!

Difference is... when they play bad they get a result...

Bookham may have won when they are playing bad but i bet they don't get the crap ref's we have had in the last 2 weeks the poor ref for the crescent game , 2 goals given to Warlingham due to to ref's inability to make his own mind up not to mention that he was stinking of drink .

Perhaps we might get a bit of a break and reclaim some of the lost points in the next couple of weeks .

Well done to warlingham though good ideal of them to play 5 first teamers against a reserve side well played lads!!!!!!

The ref was shocking but we should have got a result anyway... we just weren't up for it... AGAIN!

As for Warlingham we knew they would play first teamers but don't you think we're good enough to beat them anyway???

Basically it comes down to commitment and team selection and I think we got either right!

i agree hammer that sometimes we lack the killer touch on some of our games but the fact that both goals on saturday come by way of 2 s**t decisions was beyond anyones control not even the most gritty of teams can claw back a 2-0 scoreline .

sour grapes !!

Gents,
Not wishing to start any e-mail war between the clubs, the reserves actually used just THREE first team players last week, not the over exaggerated five as reported.
This was not a tactical ploy, it was simply as a result of the flu virus sweeping through the club last week which left our third team having to use four of my squad to get twelve out and the fourth team just having a bare eleven. The rest of my squad were unavailable either through illness, suspension, or deciding to work owing to not having a fixture.
I don't approve of dropping players down,it's derogatory to the regular second team players and as we are going for the championship would not invite any needless injuries, but, the plight of the club as a whole left us with no choice.
The major factor was you simply did not perform on the day, and YES the referee was shocking!!
We have to come to you in the league and the shield and the only occasion any first teamers MAY be used is if a similar situation occurs, I can assure you of that.
Best of luck for the remainder of the season and remember the old saying "what goes around, comes around" I'll guarantee if you think back you will have had occasions this season when things have gone your way

regards

Graeme Cupit

“We'll see about sour grapes when you have to bring your reserve team over to our place. Won't be able to rely on your first team then!”
