I have read various articles on the forum and am becoming a little bored with the tit for tat going on.

1) Staines have lost various strong players to other teams this season, one including Joe Johnson, i was fortunate enough to watch Joe play several times last season and must admit that he is one of the brightest talents to go on from Div 1 - good luck to a young man with a bright career ahead of him.

As for the rest Liam Stone, Jamie L S, league top scorer Jay Coombes, Dale Webb they have progressed through the league and deserve a chance at a higher level, these players shall be replaced but it will take time for the new team to bed in.

Staines are not the first and will not be the last side to lose players to better & stronger sides, as for Town lending young players to gain experience i do not know what to make of it, it could be good for the club over the shortfall but long term could lead to discontent throughout the rest of the ranks (Good luck).

2) HVFC & Westfield are the only teams in the league that have facilities in place(currently) Westfield with temporary stand, they have had good starts against good opposition and have maximum points from their first 3 games, if anyone in the league will be promoted i believe it will be one of these 2 teams (not SLFC) as they have strengthened their squads and look good.

I believe there is a lot of sour grapes going around, a lot from staines due to the loss of their influential players and lack of facilities, and some from the rest of the league due to Staines winning the title.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WE WILL SEE AT THE END OF THE SEASON WHO IS PROMOTED (and i will enjoy watching), ONLY THEN CAN WE START MAKING STATEMENTS ABOUT WHO DESERVES TO GO UP FROM THE LEAGUE. (AND NOT WITH TEMPORARY STANDS IN PLACE)
