Car theft victim solves crime himself

ROSEBURG: A man whose 1990 Toyota Camry was stolen Monday in Roseburg
was at the post office Tuesday when he saw another man drive up in his
car.

The victim and a co-worker accosted the suspected car thief, 38-year-old
William Jordan, a local transient, and held him at gunpoint until police
arrived around 3:30 p.m., according to a Roseburg Police Department
spokesman.
