Tyrannicide was considered sinful. By theend of the thirteenth century, however, everything had changed. The LittleRenaissance that began in the eleventh century led to a revolution inpolitical and moral philosophy, so that using force to overthrow a tyrannicalgovernment became a positive moral duty.
