Time to end misery called the gun registry

Re: Jim Comisky's May 23 letter on the gun registry. Let me inform Mr.
Comisky that due to the opposition, a move to eliminate this piece of
draconian legislation would not succeed. What is really being done is to
gut this "black hole for money" to render it toothless under the current
political situation.

As far as the police consulting the registry "more than a million times
a year," that is very misleading. Most government computers are all tied
together so consulting a computer from another government department
would automatically receive a hit from CFC computers. What has to be
done is to kill this democracy-robbing beast so that it can never rear
its ugly head again.
