The police force's internal affairs division is looking into the allegations against the member of the emergency service unit, which is responsible for crowd control and searches in remote areas. The incidents are said to have happened between June and August. ``There was a disagreement between two colleagues and it degenerated,'' said Const. Ann Mathieu, a Quebec provincial police spokeswoman. She refused to explain the nature of the conflict between the two men who have worked together for several years. Mathieu said the file had been turned over to a Crown prosecutor to decide if charges should be laid. The officer has been suspended with pay.
