Okay, I need a little help. I have never owned or wanted to own a gun until now. My husband, at my request, got me a gun for Christmas, a Walther PPK. He had just returned from being deployed to Iraq on Christmas Day. He is now on his way to Afghanistan. Before he left I had only a little time using the gun. He is maticulous about cleaning his weapons. He showed me but I didn't write it down. The few weeks home flew by. I am a slow study. Would someone be able to write a check list for me on cleaing the PPK and the 1911. Since I have already done it a few times I really just need a check list. I know how important it is to have a clean weapon and I plan to practice. No sense in owning a gun if you are not comfortable with it. Thanks.
