An elderly San Francisco man, reported to be a Buddhist monk, is in serious condition at a local hospital this morning after being robbed and stabbed Tuesday evening.
The 76-year-old Asian male, whose name has not been released, around 8:30 p.m. was exercising in Golden Gate Park near 6th Avenue and Fulton Street when he was approached by an unknown suspect who demanded money, police said.
The man complied with the suspect's request, then was stabbed by the suspect, who fled on foot, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation |
