CHILLIWACK - A Quebec man recently charged in connection with a robbery
at the Pharmasave in Vedder will be serving six years in prison.
Stephane Avon, 39, pleaded guilty in court this week and was sentenced
to six years in prison and a lifetime firearm ban, and will have to
provide a DNA sample. He will serve the sentence concurrently with a
two-year sentence he received for two robberies in the Kelowna area.
Avon held up the Pharmasave on April 28.
