Chelsea and blades

by Forever Derby

to be fair my impression was that chelsea only really carried with real intent in the early 80s by the mid 80s not so much ..I remember a right row between Derby and Chelsea mid 80s think it was a night game on the crossroads outside/ near the grange pub, very impressive mob of around 50 chelsea older heads who were fronted by simular numbers of Derby who steamed into chelsea by the crossroads most of Derbys lot had piled out of the grange and were serious players, I had not seen an away mob stand their ground as well as these chelsea lads did that night considering the quality against them, in the end chelsea were on their toes back down dairy house road to the junction with ivy square and a large ob presence, have posted about this before on this site was impressed with those chelsea lads that night even though eventually they were on their toes and to be fair I believe not a single blade was on display from either side of what was a serious row.
