As for the masses statement you come back to, if you look at the influx of people into South Wales in the late 1800s , then it was more than the existing population at the time. And yeah they have all become Welsh. If you look at England as a whole the population went from 9m in 1815 to over 40m by 1850. Mostly through immigration.
