Chapel Market

by London Red

Chapel Market is a place to steer clear of these days.Guaranteed scrap every night over the weekend and some of the young uns not scared to use blades either. The salmon and compass used to be the best boozer up there by far but its gone all gastro these days.Upper street in Islington is probably one of the better areas in London for a daytime pub crawl tho can be a bit heavy on the old wallet at times. The hope and anchor well worth a visit if just to have a look at the posters of bands such as Madness and the Specials who played there back in the day.
