Aaron went to a DD preschool, but my second son (not T21) went to a private preschool at a church. We loved it. I think Aaron would have fit in just fine there. They were very nurturing and I know that SLPs from our district actually go to this preK to see kids who need it. She may even be able to get some therapy there if she qualifies.
One of my friends put her daughter in a Montessori preK instead of a DD program. She loved it and said it was a great fit for them. I say go for it! The peer interaction will be wonderful! Let us know how you like the school.
P.S. I didn't realize you were expecting. I haven't been around much lately. Congratulations! That is very exciting!
