Excitement is growing as time for our tour in the UK gets closer. We always enjoy seeing you at the shows and this time will be no different. For us it will be extra sweet as we get to perform for more than 15 or 20 minutes on some of the date.
Not making any promises but, can we get a (short) list of some of the songs you'd like to hear? Keep in mind time is short so if we don't already have music for them it may not be possible. It will give us some help in putting the show list together.
Thank you all for your support of ALL the DEGREES.It's been a great 40 something years!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE!

VALERIE

Other than these, Red Light, Emotional Thing, Question Of Love, MacArthur Park, It's Impossible (in English!!!) and

See you in Japan.

Take care, Mitch

It's always good to hear that the Three Degrees are to tour the UK.
Some of the songs I've enjoyed hearing in concert are:-

Celebration - from the 1982 Tour & Take 3 Degrees TV special.

Dear God.

From the 1983 tour a ballard (I think was called) Smile Again. It was sung altogether, with Helen singing a couple of sections on her own.

Love is the Key.

How about reviving Everybody Gets To Go To The Moon, You Light Up My Life and/or Don't Cry Out Loud.

Good luck to Val, Helen and Cynthia with your forthcoming tour.

Love
Steve

The one that goes.....

I want to ease the tention in your body
relax and let it out whole heartedly...
get up and do something......

something like that anyhoo!

There For You.

These are for the full concert shows (Blackpool) that you are doing,
but hey...it's just good to see you again happy.gif

Smile Again? Is that the proper title? I am going to have to have a look through my Archives for that one as it doesn't ring any bells at all!!! Was it used during the 1983 Tour?

I'm glad to see that the Smile Again song ??? has raised some interest.

The song was only used on the 1983 tour and was sung quite early on in the concerts.

Regards
Steve

Croydon date

Hi Valerie

I'm so excited that you have fitted in another date on your schedule. It's a 3 hour drive for my family and I to get there but we wouldnt miss the opportunity for anything. This will be about the 30th time I've seen you and I'm looking forward to it as much as ever.

I first started listing to your music when the first record I ever bought as a child was your Standing Up For Love album over 30 years ago. I've listened to your music every day since then and I just wanted to send a big thank you for giving me so much pleasure over so many years. I drive my family potty at times but they're used to it now happy.gif They cant quite believe my taste in music hasn't changed in almost 40 years happy.gif

Is it odd for you to read that you have made such an impression and given someone so much pleasure in their life?

If at all possible, I'd love to hear: If and When, MacArthur Park, Trade Winds and Ebb Tide - also, Standing Up for Love is obviously very special too as it sparked my love of your music and my love and respect for you all as distant friends. I love the sound of your early work and naturally all the songs from the WWISYA era too.

With lots of love and sincere thanks to you all, Gary Langdale x x x

As a tribute to Michael Jackson, maybe you should do "Wanna Be Startin' Something".

Then how about 'She's out of my life', in this case, 'He's out of my life'?

It's a beatiful ballad written by him and a good vehicle for the ladies.

He's greatly missed. MJ, RIP.

Actually, "Gone too soon" would be more suitable.

Whatever it may be, it would be a nice tribute if the ladies sang a song in memory of him or two.
