I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT FAYETTE PASSED SATURDAY EVENING, JUNE 27TH, 2009. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. HER MELODIOUS VOICE WILL BE REMEMBERED, NOT ONLY WITH THE THREE DEGREES AS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS, BUT ALSO BY THOSE SHE TOUCHED THROUGHOUT HER MUSICAL CAREER.

I never saw the group when Fayette was in it, I was too young but know her voice of course through those albums. This is very sad news indeed.

I never met Fayette, but it saddens :'-( me so much to hear this very upsetting news, a beautiful lady, with a beautiful voice.....sing with the angels....sing loud and proud. R.I.P.
