It is a shame that one of the beautiful voices on When Will I See You Again dies, and gets virtually no coverage by the media or entertainment industry. The beauty of the song is haunting to this day. It is well known, well loved and well respected. Ms. Pinkney's life was one that touched millions of people. Few people can truthfully say that. I love the ladies singing today, but when most of us think of the Three Degrees, we think of WWISYA and these beautiful ladies. Valerie, Helen and Cynthia keep the legacy alive, sing beautifully and I love their versions of all the songs. To the family and loved ones of Ms. Pinkney, to the individuals that she touched through her work, music, church and soul, you have my prayers and deepest sympathy. The next time you hear the Philly anthem "When Will I See You Again", take a moment, remember the beautiful ladies that made the song and continue to sing it today. Reflect on their lives and say a prayer for them, especially Fayette and her family/friends. Peace to all who read and reflect on this.
