| The Three Degrees
Tuesday 21st July, 8pm
Hello there,
Discovered in Philadelphia by producer and songwriter Richard Barrett in 1963, The Three Degrees were one of the most successful groups to emerge from the Philadelphia soul scene in the seventies. They've had major chart success in Europe (particularly Britain) and their music is a wonderful mix of ballads and up-tempo material - think easy-listening disco music!
These disco-divas have been continuously touring the world with their soulful sounds for the best part of thirty years. Famous for their beautiful voices, fabulous stage shows and glamorous outfits, their hits include When Will I See You Again, My Simple Heart, Take Good Care Of Yourself and many many more. In the summer of 1974, "When Will I See You Again" went platinum, selling over two million copies. To date the group, in its many incarnations, have released thirty-five albums! Their efforts have been justified, as they currently hold the Guinness World Record title for the "Longest Running Female Vocal Trio."
The Three Degrees will bring with them a full piece live band as part of the show - and since they rarely perform in the UK, this is definately a show you can't afford to miss!
Tickets are £37.50* each, for bookings please call the Box Office on 01908 280800. Our cafe-bar Café in2 is open for pre-show dining on show nights from 5.30pm if you would like to reserve a table or tables please discuss your requirements with the Box Office when you call to book your tickets.
SPECIAL DRINKS OFFER: As a special treat every group of six tickets booked will receive a free bottle of wine (red or white) - please inform the Box Office which you would prefer!
Best wishes
