Quickbooks crashes upon reconciliation

I have been having a problem for the last three bank recs I have done. I go through my reconciliatio and check everything off, but when I click "Reconcile Now" Quickbooks crashes (I get that window where it says quickbooks has to close. Yes, I always send the report). When I reopen Quickbooks, the reconciliation is complete, meaning the transactions are gone in the reconciliation window. But the reconciliation report was never created. It's like it is lost.

This software is so nice...when it works correctly...anyone have a suggestion?

There is an FAQ on this:

http://knowledgebase.quickbooks.ca/detail.php?&qbid=QB720&product=&buid=QB&cat=

It has to do with certain printers and operating systems. You can also try the following:

Disable your print spooler, do the bank rec (select to display not print the reports), enable the print spooler and print the bank recs.

In some cases, the spooler corrupts or conflicts with the intuit internal printer, you could also try to delete it from your printers list and then do your bank rec.
