You can export certain data by using the report function in the following manner:

1. print your report to the screen
2. press on the export button on the top

I will give you several options of sending the data to Excel.

Hope this helps.

I can print the report I'd like to the screen but I do not see an export button at the top of the screen. Perhaps you can help me locate that button.

Thank You

You can Export Reports to Excel by clicking the Excel (Export if an older version) button, however that feature is only available in QuickBooks Pro and higher, if you don't have that option you are likely using QuickBooks Basic or Easy Start.

Export Statements to Excel

Hi there, new to this forum and have many questions, but my first is when you creat a Statement and it views to screen there is no option to export or to download to excel. (Only Print, Zoom, Help & Close & Help is of no use) Is one just completely unable to provide this function and service to clients? I'm using Quickbooks Premier 2003.

Really appreciate any assistance on this one. I do know I have to upgrade!

There is a very significant caveat regarding date format conventions and the conflict with MS Excel. BEWARE: QB PRO does not export in the established MS Excel convention. See my post dated Sept 6, 2005 for particulars.
