I don't know if I am missing something or what..but here goes. The GST Summary Report doesn't seem to pick up items that are entered in through journal entries. If I enter sales and purchases, those always hit the GST Report but as soon as I enter any sort of adjustment in as a journal entry it will not hit the GST Report. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT ON EARTH I'M DOIN WRONG???
Oh the software I'm using is Quickbooks Pro 2002.

Does Quickbooks Premier 2004 have any huge flaws that I should be aware of??

I don't think 2002 takes care of this. You will be forced to get your numbers from your accounts rather than the reports. I recommend this anyway as I think you will find that the reports are always out of sync with your GL due to date restaints and GJ entries.
2005 versions claim to take care of this problem.

I upgraded to Pro 2005. It claims it is supposed to pick up the entries from Journal entries; but it does not. When I ran my GST liability report; it did not pick up my journalized sales entries. It only picked up invoices that were generated. What I did was created a class for tracking these entries and named the class "GST Sales by J/E". When I enter the sales by journal entries; I code the class beside the entry. At the end of each quarter; I run the Class report for the quarter period and add the amount of the generated report to the GST liability report.

Phew thank you guys soooo much ...I thought that I was losing it and I was the only one who seemed to notice this! Guess I will be updating my quickbooks asap!
