When I installed the QB2006 upgrade I found that the date format on the reports had changed. After reading the help documentation, I confirmed that the regional settings from the control panel of my computer were set to YYYY/MM/DD and that under the Preferences-General section, that the year was selected to be displayed in a four digit format.
Unfortunately even after all this, the reports all display the date in the mm-dd-yy format. I need to get it changed back to yyyy-mm-dd.
Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?? Thanks!

I've encountered something similar. I like the Canadian date format dd/mm/yy and some forms do that where reports revert to the US system of mm/dd/yy. I wonder if this is just a bug in the system?
