Your right.. the coaches make it look like the cougars have no depth. Thats soooo wrong. Berube's 2 out of 3 shifts tonight (what was seen of TV) created scoring opportunities for the team, why not give him more ice time ? By the way it was Rogers who couldn't figure out how to tie up Bodie on the first goal not Featherstone. Featherstone's pinch left 3 cougars back, no reason for rocket player to get through. Rogers got beat several times tonight not Featherstone. If Bubba would skate with some effort out there he could create more opportunity also. He decides he doesn't want to skate on any given night, so he doesn't period. Malgunas talks about how smart Berube is on the blue line why not give him the opportunity to prove himself, you might be surprised at the results. Yeah he might be a little shy on size but the speed and smarts more than makes up for it. Cooper has played the last 4 games very solid for the team, good to have him back.
But by no means should anybody be giving up on the boys. They have battles back hard to make a run for the playoffs. Best of luck to them on the weekend.
