The point of my post was not to slam your post and only your post. I came back to PG from a trip and couldn't believe what I was reading from many of these posts and thought to myself, does anyone even think before they start typing anymore or better yet do any of these people know a single player or family. If you ask anyone of these players, when they sign up for the WHL they have grown up watching/playing the Canadian sport - it is a tradition and yes some of them and their families think they know what they sign up for and are given a rude awakening once the reality of the PG Cougars organization greets them. These guys really do like playing for the people of PG and many who have moved on often come back to PG for visits and remember the people of PG and what it was like - these players want the same things - they want to see the crowds, the sea of white and the line ups that form the night before.
What bothers me the most is when you are showing you support for a particular player and other people think that you are their mother, billet or some other family member. I am not any of the above but I do know that these guys have the heart and desire to win no matter what these posts say.
