I think it's gonna be up to Mike and Stew to get these kids' heads straight. I see a couple of problems here. First of all I guarantee that the boys are feeling tons of pressure and it is translating to nervousness on the ice, afraid to make mistakes, squeezing the stick, whatever, I think Vandy will play a huge part in helping turn this around. The older players need to lead the way, this is tough when the past two seasons all they've experienced is letting it slip away. Something has to happen here, whether it's a super pep talk or a visit from a psychologist, these boys need to know that they CAN beat every team they play and not be AFRAID to lose, just dig down and play hard every shift. Come on boys, you've got a lot of people who believe in you!
