As much as it looks as if Forsberg is going to be a great player
isn't it a little early to annoit him as the next "coming"
yes he has 4 points, ( playing all the power plays ) but he is also -2.
If he is also the "quarterback" of the power play then should not results
be considered rather then just the fact that he is on the powerplay....
The cougars are 3/29 or a very unhealthy 10.3% so far this year.
Obviously what KBF has written about Clark must have a grain of truth, that Deano plays favourites...
to allow an article like that, and to gush about a 16yr old when asked to comment, when the
player has the stats that Forsberg has is....well..... a little ridiculous
( give any other player the powerplay time that Forsberg has had and they might have 4 pts too)
Not to say that Forsberg is not going to be a good player, he is...but stop putting the cart before the horse.
Why not focus on the veteran leadership like Viedensky, Halliday, and Bidlevski and pump their tires??
Also with 10, 17yr olds, many of whom are performing quite admirably, for example Makin (+2), Medland Marchan (+1) and McDonald (+1), why send some scraps their way???
Lets wait until Forsberg has 20 games under his belt before we consider him for the "James Norris Trophy" | |
