You MUST sign a legally binding document that you will abide by the rules of the WHL draft IF you wish to pursue a carreer in hockey via this route. You can not play in the WHL unless you are drafted or listed by a WHL after the draft. If you come from another league, you must enter via the draft. The only escape is by trade/release by the ream that drafts you. You can not play anywhere in the CHL EVER until you report and play for the team that drafted you...AND you will pay large compensatory damages (1,000,000+) if you ever make that much in any professional league that pays you to play hockey professionally.
The attitudes out there make me wanna wretch, but they are what they are, and they are real. GOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOGS!!!! |
