Don't believe all you read in the paper from that moron Swanson. Dudas is at home but not because of an illness to his mom or because of his knee. He has left the team. I'm sure it will be public knowledge soon.

What's his problem, couldn't be ice time as he got all he could handle. This team has no heart.I'm talking about the players who got drafted by what they brought to the table ie;grit etc, and now they think their goal scorers.
Dump the players who either don't want to be here or who won't do what they got drafted for. This town would rather watch a young hard working team lose than a team with all this so called talent (but no character).
Trade them to the moose jaws or prince alberts or Brandon....give them what they deserve.

And what would that be? A chance to win over their junior career, I feel for the players that play four seasons here as they will never have a chance to win in the play-offs." Prince George Middle of the Pack"!

That's it in a nut shell. No pride, no work ethic, no nothing. I would rebuild this team around Dana Tyrell and fire the entire rest of the squad...starting with the GM, the Business Manager, the Coaches, and every high draft pick floater on the top 2 lines other than Tyrell.

to see how the boys react now that the attention has shifted onto them. It's no secret.. everyone in this town blames the boys for not trying.. no more excues with coaches, gm's, scouts, city workers, billets, crowd support... It's the players... and it's the players that are the only ones to turn this around.

I believe, to make a statement like that. Yes, they are playing erratic, uninspired hockey but why do you believe that is? Look at ANY other team in the League. Could you find one with the kind of coaching situation we have? The "head" coach came from the last place team in the BCJHL. Nothing against him personally, but how is he going to be able to instill the knowledge, and confidence to DEVELOP any player at this level? How many times are we going to out coach the opposition this year? How many times might we be out coached? What are the odds that this team is being taught effective offensive and defensive systems to compete against any team at this level, let alone the elite teams? I have noticed a pretty significant decline in the defensive play from the beginning of the season. Why is that? We could not score goals early on (it's not great now either), but we were pretty capable at limiting shots and opportunities ro score. This part of our game has gone to pot. Mihalik won't make that much of a difference when he returns, and Dudas hasn't played enough to make a difference either. How are these players supposed to develop at this point? Who is teaching them all the "little things" that good defensive teamwork needs? Finally, who is coaching our tenders to not make the "little" positioning errors that make such a huge difference in a goalie's ability to make more saves, confidently? This team is a mess right now with the poor, negative, unconfident attitudes swirling around but it will be impossible to remove them until the players can look around and see some sign that the team cares about their development to a higher level. Hiring the unqualified, only applicants that will show up, is not going to do it. I would prefer see Stew called back as head coach. At least as an ex-NHL'er he would give them a little hope they might pick up some useful tidbits of knowledge along the way. Looks like a trying second half awaits us Coog fans...buckle up. GOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOS!!!!

Either you give a crap or you don't. Pretty simple. The guys that show up (Tyrell, Deagle, Vanduynhoven, lately Sagert) aren't getting beat on at all. Are you telling me the other guys deserve to get a pat on the back????

how this part of the equation plays on the psyches of the team. Knowing you are learning less than your competition, competing against very organized teams, running around "chasing" opponents in hopes that sheer effort will overcome the massive discrepancy with regards to high level instruction. How long could anyone continue to spin their wheels while watching, and understanding, that your competition has the necessary input to improve while you may be lacking greatly in that area(especially defense and goal tending). You think WE are frustrated as fans? Try to imagine what it would feel like to be close to having the talent, willingness to learn, and the drive to POSSIBLY make a very good living in the sport we all love, only to fully understand you are at a significant disadvantage to pretty much EVERY team in the league right now when it come to, arguably, the most important aspect of your learning equation at this level. There are some "proven" performers like Hunter, Drazzy, Wishart, Setoguchi, Dudas(?), Robertson, etc who have watched their numbers and efforts tumble this year...WHY all of a sudden, at the same time? I refuse to believe it is a huge, random attack of gutlessness that happened within the exact same few months, there is just too much on the line for these guys and they know it. Food for though while I continue to shout GOOOOOOO
COOOOOOOOGS!!!
