I think Dallas Thompson has to be recognized for the player moves that brought Devin to PG. Sure many people thought he made a mistake, giving up two first rounders for an injured player. Halfway through the season I think many were wondering if he would ever show up, myself included! Thankfully he did, and taking nothing away from the other players on the team for saying so, but I think he is bringing out the best in them too!

I completely agree that Setoguchi has elevated his game to a new stratosphere and in doing so has made better players of everyone else. For years I have wondered what the scouts and so many fans saw in Walker...and now...I stand corrected. Walker is playing awesome hockey and showcasing his own talents right out there alongside the Gooch on our 16-17-18 line. Same with Durand, who has lifted his game large as a result of playing on that line.

What makes things even more formidable for the Giants is that because of this inspired play...they can't key on only one or two guys. Put two guys on the Gooch and Walker will burn you. Send your top guys out against the 16-17-18 line...and Drazenovic's line will burn you.

For as long a time as I can remember...we seem to finally have three very solid lines...and a fourth that is admittedly shorter on talent but very long on heart and grit. Even though Tyrell has not hit the scoresheet much these playoffs...he is out there moving like a fireplug every shift...confounding the opposition. With guys like Tyrell, Gardner, Rapac, and Fuller tiring out Gnats formidable "D"...our superstar players have a real chance to keep making lots of noise on the scoreboard.

If I were the Giants I would be afraid, be very afraid--this is nowhere near the ame team they beat 5 times in the regular season. This is more like the grit and heart of the Chilliwack team that nearly stole the first two games from them in that playoff series...but with 10-times the talent!! Watch out Sexsmith...our cannons are primed, loaded and pointing in your direction--you're going to look good basked frequently in that RED GLOW!!!!
