Aside from the fact Brodsky is moving the team etc, was last nights game entertaining at all. I'm not interested in supporting a moving franchise by buying a season ticket this year, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few games of a developing team if they're putting an effort in. Was last night's game worth the price of admission aside from the outcome. Sounds to me like Corey Tyrell is as advertised

The team worked very hard, they just didn't have the guns to compete with TC. Wishart had one of the best games I've seen him have in a while and the team skated well. I've been far more frustrated last year, even sometimes with wis when there was no effort. Last night, there were a few screw ups fopr sure but it was entertaining.

Don't let the score fool ya, it was 3-2 up until very late in the 3rd and PG was pressing very hard for the tying goal just before TC scored to go up by two. Tartaglione is also fun to watch, but will give you a bit of Grey hair.

My only frustration is that there were some really good hits that were penalized for no apparent reason, and a terrible non-call that led to the 3rd TC goal. It's not one sided either, some of the calls on the other team leave you shaking your head. The officiating in this league blows.

Personally I would say the Cougs outplayed the Americans for the most part ... the shot clock implies that as well at over 40 shots on the Tri city net while just over 30 on the Cougs net.

It just wasnt in the stars last nite to win the game ... I felt the Cats shouldve walked away with the win but the Americans Tendie was damn good at his game last night

It was a great game with lots of SOLID, CLEAN hits, very little chippy play, super plays leading to excellent chances both ways, superb goaltending from Picard, ok from Tommy, but his open ice play more than made up for it. He had some AMAZING passes and clearing shots...VERY animated. He will keep Cyr "honest" this year for sure. My only complaint is about 1 defenseman who I will give 10 games (home) before I start to rant. Looking forward to tonight in a big way.

GOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGS!!!

Played game by the Coogs. Really liking the look of Hunt in these first few games. He is much stronger and it shows! He totally sniped the fifth (I believe) goal last night. Good chemistry between Gardner, Poulter/Tyrell, and him. Deagle, Fuller and whoever picked up where they left off last year and are very tenacious forecheckers (If Deagle converts 1/2 his chances this year, he will score 40 easily ). Many of the new guys looked very solid last night. Haas, Stanfield, C. Tyrell, Magnussen, Bidlevski, Kowalski, etc. all contributed effectivelly a multitude of times. A very different look, different effort level, different strategies employed (defense are playing VERY aggressive offesively this year), and, overall, GREAT entertainment level so far. GOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOGS!
