to be honest. Siwak is great to watch...quite similar to Inglis...without the penalty baggage that always came with Charles. Seems to fit in pretty well already and is showing great leadership very early in his time here.

Blidstrand's first game at home wasn't stellar but he did not completely out of place either. I think the communication gap that was ever-present with Marincin will not be nearly as much of an issue with this Swede...AND...if you are going young, it is always good to be younger...IMO You KNOW Marincin won't be back next year with such a horrid defense in Edmonton.

A first and second round choice for a player in that position...especially with his very average stats this year...there is no doubt that not having the supporting cast of d-men (Accolatse) like last year have hurt his numbers this year. Hope he can turn it on for the pats...sure is nice having a couple of higher first rounds pickings to go with ours that will be very high. With the job the new scouting staff has done in the last couple oof years it there is good reason to be (cautiously ) optimisit about the next 5 years or more...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGS!!
