argh this is really annoying now, why has everyone started slating pete for the cancellations? people are always saying he should get clean and hes actually making an effort for once but people are still moaning they want to see shambles and their beloved pete without even considering why they have cancelled !

oh my god i actually cant continue to read these idiotic posts anymore...they're doing my head in! first off, im a fan of pete doherty because i think he is an amazing person who has such a free mind and spirit and someone who has brought so much to music. I admire him and look up to him. Why is everyone so obsessed over his private life, his drug taking and who hes sleeping with. It's his decision to do what he does and although i would like to see him clean off drugs its none of my business what he does and to be honest ive more important things like my own problems then to be obsessing over his.
as for blaming kate moss....what the fuck??does anyone actually know her personally??does anyone know firsthand what kindof relationship they have??personally i think shes a knob but thats just the impression i get of her from the media...does it mean she is?of course not.like come on are people that mindless not to realise tabloids will print anything to sell a paper and a day doesnt go by without kate or pete being in them so it doesnt exactly take a genius to work out they write bullshit.
but i do think this whole no show at gigs is getting way too old if people devote their time and money to an artist they should at least have the decency to stay true to their word. it's bang outta order and just completly disrespectful to their loyal fans. and then people turn around and use his drug taking as an EXCUSE???!!oh hes trying to get clean so its ok....??? as i said before i would love to see pete clean but dont people realise he really is in the best position in a bad situation. he is lucky enough to be able to get the best treatment whereas i have seen so many families ripped apart and destroyed by drugs cuz they weren't entitled to such luxuries as "the priory." I fully support petes attempts to quit drugs but i think people should have a little perspective...pete will continue to get chance after chance until the day he dies but think about those who dont even get one chance. He's 27 years old and a father of two children and that should be his motivation to use such great advantages he has in the hope of staying clean. I really think people need to lay off the obsessing over his private life its nothing to do with you.
Serious apologies for the length of it but i really needed to get it out. Pete is a grown man and should be responsible enough to act like one so stop making damn excuses for him which just dont hold.
