while attempting inventory adjustments in single user mode (qbooks 2005 premier), we received the following error:

Runtime error
Microsoft Visual C++
Program qbw32.exe
instruction at 0x00407644 0x027f3794
memory could not be read

We have a 5 user system and this only occurs on one machine. Any thoughts on what this might be or what could be causing this would be appreciated.

When I start up QB 2005 Basic I receive the error:

Instruction 0x00407644 referenced memory 0x027c1ffc. Memory could not be read. Press ok to terminate.


I reinstalled QB. Everything worked fine. I closed QB and went to reopen only to receive the same error.

Any ideas? It appears it is the same memory refence.

For anyone else interested ... did some research and found out the latest version / update of spy doctor was causing this crash ... I shut down spy doc and it QB works fine now.
