I hope that you persevere with the Mindy method as it delivers great results.

Yesterday round the superb but brutal Whistling Straits course in Wisconsin I was four over par for 15 holes...the other three cost 7 shots as the headwind came into play and if you leave the fairway even by only a couple of feet, the snarly rough and bunkers play havoc with the score. My playing partners wre asking where they can find the Mindy book so impressed were they by the regularity of the delivery. One under for the par threes, my finish of 3, 4 would have won Justin Leonard the PGA!

Have you had a chance to see the DVD which Jim centralizes here in the USA?
Maybe that would enlighted you as to the notion of pulling over the ball.
I don't release the club and have a feeling of a bowed or pronated left wrist over the ball. That is Mindy's locking device which guarantees firm and regular delivery of the ball to the target. If the left wrist is weak, the the hands, forearms and wrists will have to come into play and the structure designed by Mindy will break down.
