Yes, indeed, that's been taking up a lot of my time. The tourney went really well. I asked Tiger in the Media tent press conference what he thought of the course, hoping that he'd evoke the architecture. But no. He gave me his standard reply "Well, it's been kind to me!" It's true that he eagled the 517 metre 18th three times and only birdied it on the last day
Quite some years ago, Mindy put me in touch with a French friend of his and we lunch twice a year in Paris. He told me that he has in his archives some well-taken movies of Mindy's swing during a visit he made to Mindy's home in Surrrey. Today I wrote to him and asked how I could make a copy of the Great Man and then contribute it to the Forum.
I'll get back to you on this.
With apologies for my summer absence from the Forum but the good news is that the swing is still delivering results. Two rounds without a fairway missed and good sub-80's scoring.
In addition, I'm planning on attending the PGA Fair in Orlando this coming January. Through my friendship with Nick Bradley who is coach to Justin Rose and a contributor to the Golf Channel US, there is a possibility that the Mindy swing might receive some Golf Channel coverage.
