Still swinging

Jim
I am still at it but have been on a bit of a hiatus due to some sacroiliac problems. Feeling pretty good now.
Looking forward to getting the book and having a read. I am striking the ball well (won both nearest the pins today!) and have moved to an action that I suspect looks more like Richard than my original interpretation of the swing.
Putting is still awful at times and ordinary at best but that is just me I guess.
Cheers
Mac.

Putting

May 15 2009, 8:02 AM

I recently became a good putter (high twenties to low thirties)
by cultivating the feeling that the swinging action is coming
off or out of my trail hip. That is a bit nebulous but that's the
best way I can describe it. It just works. This is after years
of struggle on the greens.

Been there, still doing it!

I anchor my rear arm on the hip (open stance) then I give the rear arm a push from knee and hip. Very effective!

My putting technique stems from Mindy's theories and I believe I've reported it on the forum a few years back.
