Just wait until Andre is coach!

by Anonymous

Everyone knows that he is the best wrestler out of AJ since the McMinn Years. He will take AJ back to the top, he is hungry becaue his only loss his senior year at the state tournamene he totally got ripped off. If Coach Brennan would have only questioned the refs call things would have been different but he didn't because he didnt like Andre. Andre bleeds black and gold and will take AJ back to the top

Andre is coaching?

by eDawG

Do you know something nobody else does? Coach Reed isn't gone and I don't think hes intending to leave. And after all we won just won regions, and have almost our entire team returning. Why change the head coach?

That is some funny shit right there! I don't know who this is but you really have a sense of humor! You were being sarcastic right?..... Wait you were serious..... Wow you really don't know wtf you're talking about then... I think your opinion would be a little bit different if you knew what a drama-queen he was, and how much work he actually put into the sport. There is a difference between going to clinics so people can see that you're part of the wrestling scene, and going to clinics to get better at kicking ass. It's also hard to become a state champion when your off singing and dancing in a little club after school instead of going to practice. But hey, I guess not even making the team at a D 2 school makes you better than 3 timers like Brandon Hays, and all the other placers with real work ethics. I can't believe I just wasted my time responding to this ridiculous post.

Title Wrestling Coach Posted 2009-03-10
School Apache Junction High School Phone 480-982-1110 ext 2312
Email dfolsom@ajusd.org Fax
Details Apache Junction is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced head wrestling coach for the 2009-2010 school year.

Looks like AJ isnt happy with just a regional title. They want state. Andre is the one to do it.

To the hater, just because Andre added a little culture and arts to his life is no reason to hate.

Help Wanted?

by Anonymous

Sounds like ytou need to get a better AD. Little punk doesn't even play sports. There is no one person who can fix this problem it has to be a school and town thing. That's the problem. AJ is a wrestling school but isn't treated that way. You say Andre will save the program you need to think bigger. It is going to take more than just coaching. You could go get Dan Gable to coach but if there is no support it won't work. Speaking of is in town this weekend.

you people should be ashamed

by John

I think this petty banter about who's coaching is crap. I wrestled for Coach McMinn and went to school with Rob Roy. if the Coach was hearing this crap he wouldn't have your ass's anywhere near his program. grow up, if you care about the program and thats what it's about people, (the program). then you would realize that your just under mining the true meaning to being a wrestler. individuals win matches but teams win titles and if you ever wore the gold for Coach McMinn then you know what im talking about. my father wrestled for the Coach my uncles did as well and so did my brother. If you think that your actions and words are helping this team your wrong.

Fly solo program

by

Coach Reed,

At the clinic at Mountain View I picked up the NSCA Fly Solo info, I am planning on coming to the April 3-5 offering in Phoenix, my wife (who was at the Mountain View Clinic) with me thought that something was said about that clinic maybe being moved to another date. Could you please let me know, I am going to try and get my district to pay for my attendance and I need to put it in soon.

Thanks

my names Jason O'Hara and i'm fairly new to AZ. I used to wrestle back home in Cali and i was wondering if i may join in on some of your practices and what not, like an alumni would. im definatly not new to the sport, ive been to state 3 times and was supposed to go to the jr. olympics but instead i moved out here and continued my education. i think i could help you and the team, even its just to be a throwing dummy haha.

thanks for your time,
Jason

Thanks for the correction on the name of the former AJ wrestling coach. The only way that this website can be effective is if we provide up to date correct information. Thanks for being observant!
